We will leave either in the morning or afternoon on Friday (or very early Saturday morning), and camp at Honeymoon Bay (HB). We'll paddle out from there, doing towing, rescue, surf, radio and other sundry skills training as well as going for a longer pleasure paddle if conditions allow. Hopefully conditions will allow us to go for an overnight camp somewhere on the Sunday night. If not, we'll still load our boats with all the requisite gear, paddle around for a few hours and return to our HB campsite to flollop around in the shallow sheltered waters of the bay. We may even do a car shuffle and get blown across the bay to or from Murrays, Hyams or Greenpatch, depending on which way the wind blows. Numbers will depend on kayak availability and experience of participants. Unless you are an experienced sea kayaker, you will have to have participated in the rolling/skills sessions ar Queanbeyan pool, or demonstrate an appropriate level of expertise. We'll return to Canberra on Monday afternoon to wash and pack away the gear at the boat shed.
