Hi all,
Looks like my shoulder is almost back in the game for climbing so I’m keen to get out there asap.
[edit]
We are going to Snake Rock. It is a bit of a drive from Canberra, but a nice and sunny crag. Please bring lots of water (2litres minimum). You will need to have your own helmet, harness and shoes or hire them from the gear store.
[end of edit]
We have two options:
Snake Rock and Sewage Wall. I haven’t been to Sewage Wall before, but from what I know it sounds like a lovely (but stinky) crag and it is 5 minutes from my house in West Belconnen. I will bravely conduct an expedition to the crag sometime next week to check how smelly it really is, and depending on that we will climb there or at Snake Rock.
Snake Rock is not that far from Canberra.
I will make a fb chat and notify everyone as soon as I can confirm the state of Sewage Wall.
This trip is for people who have been outdoors at least once. Beginners are welcome!
Meeting at 8am on SUNDAY 11th at ANU.
