For many reasons, it's an essential skill. This session is for clubbies who have got, or almost got, a roll. But if you're content to hang onto the side and other people's boats in order to practice and get the muscle memory of different rolls.
One more trip to Queanbeyan pool has 'been added, with a focus on rolling the sea kayaks. For this reason, these trips are only open to people who have been to at least one pool rolling session previously, (or who can roll sometimes anyway). We will be taking a couple sea kayaks and as many additional whitewater kayaks as we can fit (probably 4-6). We might try rolling with a sail deployed.
Arrive: Boat shed 4:30pm to load boats, Queanbeyan pool 6 - 8pm, then return to ANU to unload boats. Flexibility if you can only arrive/leave from Queanbeyan pool. ' Ta
