Have you ever wanted to try abseiling? Have you abseiled before, but want to refresh your skills? Are you interested in coming on a canyoning trip with the club this year? Then this session is for you!
We will meet at the ANU old climbing wall at 5:30 pm on Friday 27 February. There will be a brief verbal instruction session on the ground, after which attendees will get to try abseiling from the metal walkway above the old climbing wall all the way to the ground.
Please wear comfy active clothing and sensible shoes. We will have access to the club's ropes and harnesses, so you don't have to bring anything but yourself, however, if you have your own harness, personal anchor system (PAS/safety) or descending device - feel free to bring them.
