The plan:
Paddle out to Springbank island (near the jetty on the south side of the island) practice some rolling (in white water kayaks) and play a game of kayak polo!
Once we reach the jetty the first 30 minutes will be devoted to rolling practice
Meet at the Kayak shed at 5:30pm, Wednesday 18 November.
Skills required:
- To come on this trip you must be confident with a wet exit from a kayak and have done one before.
- If you can do a wet exit but have never tried rolling you are welcome to come but need to be aware that this is not an instruction session.
- Please state your previous kayaking experience in the trip sign up.
To bring:
Clothes that can get wet,
You may wish to bring goggles/nose piece.
