Archived trip from old website run by annika_r
I'm keen to get back into some semi-regular rolling practise starting with a session on the lake this week. Depending on the preference of the group we will plan to paddle out and practice rolling near Springbank Island.
This will NOT be an instructional session, but please come along if you have a roll or are on your way to a roll and comfortable doing "T-rescues" while practising with a partner.
Participants MUST be comfortable doing a "wet exit" from a kayak, and must be able to swim.
Expect to get completely wet, so bring something warm, and a towel and dry clothes for afterwards. A nose-plug is helpful.
Meet at the ANU boat shed at 5:30 pm Wednesday 16th December.
