The Plan: To catch the chairlift up from Thedbo and explore the great slopes around the stunning Rams Head range!
Gear required: Backcountry ski gear, skins, warm clothing, wet weather gear, lunch, snacks, water, beanie, something to sit on that keeps your backside dry.
Cost: Petrol/Dinner on the way home/lift pass to the top of the crackenback chair lift/contribution to parks entry = $120
Experience required: This is not a beginner trip and all participants will need to have skied before and be reasonably confident with turning and stopping. Given that any slopes we ski down we will need to climb back up again with skins a good level of fitness is required.
Logistics: Please indicated in the sign up whether you have a car, parks pass, roof racks/chains.
Please be at the ANU SRA in time for a 5:10 am departure.
