Like the Blue Mountains and Main Range Extravaganzas, Cocktails on the Castle and the Mid-Winter Feast, the Jervis Bay Extravaganza is a yearly fixture on the ANUMC activities calendar. In our 50th year, this could be an awesome weekend.
In years' gone by, up to 70 ANUMC members have fell upon Jervis Bay for a weekend of activity and socialising!
The idea is to arrive at our campsite at Honeymoon Bay http://scuba.club.anu.edu.au/sites/maps/jervismap.php
near Jervis Bay on Friday night. FIRST IN BEST SERVED FOR CAMPSITES
Saturday and Sunday is spent undergoing activities - sea kayaking, bushwalking to Pigeon House Mountain, surfing (haha got it in there!) and anything else you would like to do (can we get climbing, rogaining and MB riding in there somehow??) or just chilling by the multiple amazing beaches. We leave for Canberra on Sunday arvo.
This is what is nearby:

Please register if you would like to come along so I can know numbers for the purpose of organising logistics. WE ALSO NEED PEOPLE TO COME DOWN ON FRIDAY ARVO TO ISOLATE SOME CAMP SPACES FOR US AS WE CANT BOOK THEM IN ADVANCE. SORRY BUT EVERYWHERE THAT CAN BE BOOKED NEARBY IN A NATURAL SETTING IS BOOKED.
If you would like to LEAD an activity - as suggested above or something else - please send me an email or call me: taya_fabijanic@yahoo.co.uk and 0423 589 662.
As we get closer to the date and trip leaders emerge, I anticipate specific activities will get posted.
