The idea is to do Danae Brook via the Thurat Spires as a two-day canyon (since Jin and I are too soft to do it in one day). On Sat we do the canyon and bivy at the start of the walk out via the Spires. On Sun, we walk out via the Spires.
We drive down on Friday night and have an early!!! start on Sat.
You need to carry prussiks, a whistle and a pulley, a good sense of humor and wear a helmet. Please see the gear list for canyoning for all other items you have to take (under 'Canyoning Gear')

Additionally, bring a hat with a visor - this helps you breathing in running waterfall abseils.
This is not a beginner trip. You need to be an intermediate/advanced Canyoneer able to abseil left and right handed (in running waterfalls), lock-off your belay device and prussik. Please indicate your experience in the comment field.
Danae Brook via the Spires is a substantial undertaking - the last time I did Danae Brook (with the normal walk out) took us 16 hrs. So you need to be fit and be able to stay in a happy mood if things get a bit rough.
Sat: Danae Brook camp at start of walk out via the Spires
Sun: Walk out via the Spires
