I'll be leading a beginner's MTB trip around Bruce Ridge this Sunday - hopefully the first of many!
Date/Time: Sunday 11am
Location: We'll meet at the carpark HERE
Gear: A mountain bike, helmet, water and means of carrying water are essential. I strongly recommend sunglasses and gloves, but you can probably manage without. Make sure you're wearing something loose enough to ride in!
We'll meet at this google maps pin near the GIO stadium, assemble people and bikes, then set off to do a lap. I have a straightforward loop in mind which I'll explain on the trail map when we get to the trailhead. Depending on the skill level and speed of the group, there is the possibility of altering the length of the loop.
I am a reasonably experienced mountain biker, so can give you tips etc if you want them - or just whoop if you go over jumps :)
This is a beginner's trip, so we will be going at the speed of the slowest rider. Depending how fast the group is, I expect us to take 1-2 hours to complete the ride.
Meet at the carpark, ride to the trailhead at bruce ridge, complete a loop of between 1-2 hours and ride back to the carpark.
