This is a place holder at the moment as this trip going ahead requires another experienced climber to help lead the trip.
A day of sport climbing at Nerriga (https://www.thecrag.com/climbing/australia/nerriga/area/11772637).
The trip is pitched at upper beginner climbers who have some experience outdoors, at least feel comfortable on a rope, and are happy tying in and know how to belay using an ATC. We will most likely be top roping for the day (set up by myself or the other experienced climber).
We will likely be climbing mid teens routes.
There are no real costs involved other than petrol. It is about a 1.5 drive to Nerriga, so you can expect to pay ~$10 per person for fuel. Unfortunately, there are only a limited number of spots available (4) so if the trip is well subscribed, some people can expect to miss out. I'll check the gear store on how much climbing gear is left and maybe we can take more people.
The plan is to meet at ANU gym at 8am on Monday morning. We'll do a full day of climbing aiming to be back in Canberra by 8pm.
Bring food, water, sunscreen, climbing shoes, harness and helmet.
