Overview
Mt Tennent is a 1300m high mountain in Namadgi National Park. In early 2012 there was landslide on its slopes, leaving an imposing scar on the mountain.
The walk is a 10 km round trip ascending the landslide and then descending via the walking track. There is about 750 m vertical gain over 3 km on the way up with many sections averaging a 1:2 gradient. The walk up the landslide is mostly on smooth, rocky ground with areas of loose rock and dirt. The bush is reasonably thick for the first few hundred meters of the landslide so be prepared to get prickly.
