Climb at Cosmic County or The Freezer. See access info here: https://www.onsight.com.au/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/ACCESS-TO-COSMIC-COUNTY-AND-THE-FREEZER.pdf
This trip is part of the BME. To attend, you need to also sign up for the main BME trip.
I'm going climbing at Cosmic County on Saturday. It's mostly trad climbing in the grade 16-24 range. There are also a handful of good sport climbs, mostly around grade 21-23. It would be possible for a group to join us for the drive and climb at The Freezer, which offers many sport routes in the grade 19-24 range.
You need to bring:
- Personal climbing gear - helmet, belay device (preferably assisted braking), and harness.
- A rack if you want to lead trad (if you can lead trad and don't have a rack, we can organise to hire one from the club for you).
- Sun protection.
- Food and water for the day.
When signing up please detail your climbing ability in the "comments" section - namely whether you can lead trad, follow trad, lead sport, or follow sport at the grades I have mentioned. Those who aren't able to lead climbs here should view their registration as provisional. I'll finalise the numbers closer to the day.
