What:
A series of 5 kayak rolling sessions held at the Canberra International Sports & Aquatic Centre.
When:
6:30pm - 8:00pm every Tuesday from June 20th August to 17th Sept.
If you need club gear (boat, pfd etc.) please meet at the ANU Boat Shed at 5:30.
If you have a car with roof racks, please volunteer to take boats and passengers.
Who should join this awesome event:
These sessions are open to novice-expert kayakers that wish to practice their paddling skills in self-directed skills sessions in a heated pool. There is no formal skills instruction, but if you want help or advice, you should be able to find someone willing to give it to you, you just need to show initiative.
Graduates of the ANUMC beginner skills sessions held in Queanbeyan with Terry and Andrew earlier this year are encouraged to attend, but must contact Melanie Stamell before attending the first session.
Participants must know how to swim.
Equipment:
Attendees are required to organise their own gear.
ANUMC beginners must contact Melanie Stamell if they wish to hire club gear.
Cost:
The full amount of $40 for pool rental must be paid to the below bank account. Spaces are limited to 10 people and will be awarded to those that pay first.
A pool entry fee of $4.50 must be paid at to the aquatic centre each week.
