Gibraltar Peak loop via Visitor Information Centre
I'm taking advantage of a day off on a weekday to do one of Canberra's more popular walks, which I've never done, Gibraltar Peak in Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve. Company welcome! The most direct route is about 8km return, with 300m altitude gain, all on a nice walking track. Alternatively there's a 13km loop that I'm keen on. Tidbinbilla is about 40 minutes drive from ANU.
Bring lunch and water, plus some warm clothes and rainjacket as always.
Do not come if:
- you are feeling unwell
- have flu-like symptoms
- have travelled internationally in the last 14 days
