Hello queer identifying folks!
Keen to meet more queer folk who also share a love of the outdoors? Well then come to Badger on Monday 19th at 6pm for some drinks and also to cry with me about mid-sem exams.
This event is queer/LGBTQA+ autonomous, meaning it is open to anyone who is queer identifying (i.e. identifies as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual, pansexual, asexual, aromantic, non-binary, or queer). I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive space. If I see any homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, racism, identity erasure, or discrimination of any kind, you will be asked to leave. Let's make everybody feel welcome!
We acknowledge this event takes place on stolen land and that sovereignty has never been ceded. We recognise the original custodians of the land on which we are to meet, the Ngunnawal people. We pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging.
From your friendly neighbourhood Social Officer,
