UPDATE: if there are no sign-ups by 11pm tonight Friday 24 February, this trip will be cancelled.
This trip will leave from the ANU Sports Union building and take in a scenic tour of parts of the adjacent suburbs Turner and O'Connor on bike paths and by road before we reach O'Connor ridge where there are some beginner friendly single-track mountain bike trails. After a lap around the ridge we will return to ANU by a similar route.
You will need a mountain bike to participate plus a suitable helmet and any other mountain biking specific protective gear you wish to use (the club does NOT own or provide bikes or any other riding gear). Bring around 650-1000ml of water, especially if it is warm weather, and please wear or bring sunscreen to apply before we start.
