[edit: currently I can't take anyone else unless they have their own rope]
I rolled my ankle so I can't do anything exciting, and I may as well do some easy climbing and take some others out with me.
Attendees must at least be confident belaying on an indoor wall. Happy to take up to 4 beginners and as many self-reliant people as want to come. [edit: now capping this at 8]
You will need:
helmet
harness
shoes
belay device
PAS or sling + spare carabiner
water, snacks
We'll leave Canberra at 8am, drive to Tianjara Falls. I can drive, but because of the aforementioned ankle I'd rather someone else did.
We'll climb until we're sick of it, or ~4:30pm, then drive back to Canberra, returning ~7pm.
All of this is contingent on weather, etc. If there's interest, we could car-camp the night before, hit the crag early and get home earlier on Sunday. Let me know if you'd be keen on this.
Costs will be petrol for cars, likely ~$15, but depending on the climber:car ratio.
