This is a camping/hiking trip to enjoy the scenic views offered by the Blue Mountains over the Australia Day long weekend.
We'll be leaving Canberra on the morning of Friday, Jan 26th and returning to Canberra on Sunday, Jan 28th.
Since we'll be camping at Mt. York, which is first come-first-serve, we'll want to leave early - around 6:00 – 7:00 AM. The campsite has firepits and simple toilets, but no water - we'll coordinate to make sure there's enough for everyone.
I've made an itinerary of 4 hikes, which will be shared once you've joined. If you know of a great hike that isn't listed, we'll try to fit it in.
There are currently 2 drivers available, which limits us to 6 people however if you are keen to drive then let me know and we can bring more friends along. It's my first time formally leading a trip, so please only sign up if you're a self-sufficient camper.
