Let's get out of the city!
(aka: Who wants to share petrol costs and go camping with me?)
This is a chill weekend camping adventure at Three Mile Dam campground in Kosciuszko National park (around 2.5h drive) . It'll be chill because a) we're escaping the summer heat, and b) because there are no scheduled activities except a pot-luck on Saturday night. We're camping near the cars: read a book, draw, walk a day-hike nearby, whatever floats your boat. The point is to take some time to relax outdoors.
You will need your own camping equipment, food and water. The campsite has pit toilets but nothing more advanced than that. If you're new to camping, I'm happy to provide guidance on what you might need. If I don't hear from you, I expect you to be self-sufficient.
I'll email those who sign-up on Wednesday evening to organise car-pooling. My preference would be to leave at 4 or 5pm on Friday to get to the campsite before dark and minimise the risk of hitting wildlife, and return before dark on Sunday. However, I am open to leaving later on Friday or Saturday morning if that works better for others.
