The light-to-light walk is a classic overnight coast walk. Beautiful, deserted beaches, more wildlife than you can poke a stick at, and even a chance to see some whales.
We'll leave Canberra at on Friday afternoon and drive down in two or three cars to camp at Bittangabee Bay on Friday night. depending on what time people can leave we might have cars leave at different times with the early cars setting up camp. for those that need to come late.
The next morning we'll have a beach swim and do a car shuffle so that we have a car at each end of the hike. We'll then do a big day hiking north from Green Cape lighthouse carrying our overnight gear so that we can camp at Mowarry campground on Saturday night. We'll have a chill morning on Sunday with a swim and some side-trips and still make it to the finish at Ben Boyd's lighthouse at lunch time. We should be back in Canberra by 5pm on Sunday.

Provided you are fit and you've done a few day-hikes before, this might be a good choice for a first overnight hike. If you're thinking of doing your first overnight hike please read this guide by NSW National Parks Service:
