Surf Kayaking - South Durras day trip

A relaxed day at the beach & a beginner surf kayaking trip (how beginner depends on the surfing conditions on the day).

To attend this trip as a kayaker you need to have paddled a kayak before and be comfortable with wet exiting, dragging a kayak full of water to the shore (while small/large waves crash on you), emptying the kayak out and then starting again :)

Surf kayak numbers are contingent on the number of kayaks we have at the coast at the time.

People are welcome to come and watch/sunbake/swim/snorkel on this trip.

You'll need: 

• Kayaking equipment: (kayak, pfd, paddles, spray deck)


• Beach things: swimmers / wetsuit, towel, sunscreen, hat etc.
