O'Week - Come and Try - Kayaking - Session 1

G'day future paddlers, This O'week kayaking event is open to all new members to showcase the activities that the ANUMC can offer. If you want to have a go at lake kayaking head to the ANU boatshed. Participants will be shown the basic paddling strokes and go on a short trip into Lake Burley Griffin and around Springbank Island. Depending on time, some of you may even get to practice a 'wet exit'. Paddling will be supervised by more experienced members. Wear comfortable clothes (that you don't mind getting wet), sunscreen and hat . All other paddling gear will be provided. Participants must be comfortable in water and be able to swim. This trip is limited to 8 participants so sign up is essential.
