Sunday Morning Paddle

Join us for a leisurely Sunday morning paddle!

Meeting at the boathouse at 8am, we'll aim to be on the water at 8.20am. The plan is to head towards Weston Park. If the conditions/lake traffic allows, we will aim for the dam wall, otherwise we will circle back via Yarralumla. The aim will be to have the kayaks packed up by 10.30am.

This is a slightly longer paddle than the normal beginner lake sessions. Fit beginners are still welcome! For safety, participants must be able to swim (but this is very unlikely!). PFDs and kayaks are provided. Please wear warm layers. A waterproof/windproof jacket may help keep you warm.

Please bring a gold coin for kayak maintenance.

Trip will be cancelled if the weather is rainy, or the winds are too high.
