Sunday arvo lake kayak

This trip will involve a late-afternoon lake paddle, and watching sunset from the water near Springbreak Island. As we will be paddling in twilight, a head torch is a compulsory item for this trip. You must bring a headtorch (a phone flashlight is not suitable).

We will meet at ANU Boat Shed at 4pm. We will head out towards Spinaker Island/Black Mountain Peninsula. We will aim to be back near Springbank Island to watch the sunset, which is due to set at 5.50pm. We will then paddle back to the shed. Note that putting away the kayaks may occur after dark.

This trip is suitable for beginners, but you must be able to swim. Please bring warm clothes, a gold coin donation for kayak hire, and a headtorch.
